    • Notice noise on first test drive. Sounds like coming from front of engine. Tested alternator, charges good, diodes and regulator good. noise did not change when loaded. Noise also did not change with a/c compressor activated. Noise loudest around lower idler. removed drive belt and noise no longer present. Replaced idler suspect idler bearing, noise resolved.
