    • 1) -Right front axle boot appears to be under a vacuum. Can try removing clamp, repacking axle and replacing clamp. if this doesn't address issue, replacement of axle and or further inspection required. ——- -performed aforementioned repair, road tested vehicle: axle boot not currently under a vacuum. 2) vibration present, feels like the driveline is out of balance.

    • -TECHNICIAN FOUND SEVERE DAMAGE TO CONTROL MODULE WIRES. -AFFECTED WIRE LOCATIONS: -1J, 1E, 1D, 1B, 1G, 1I, 1L, 1V, 1H, 1F. -RECOMMENDED REPAIR: -REPLACEMENT OF WIRING HARNESS WILL BE NEEDED IF UNABLE TO FIND PIGTAIL CONNECTOR, OR WIRES AND TERMINALS. -FOUND REPAIR WIRES WITH TERMINALS (WE WILL NOT HAVE TO REPLACE THE HARNESS). SUSPECT BARE WIRE SHORTED FUSE. (GROUND CIRCUITS HAD 1B, 1E, 1J, SHORTED TO 1H). -REPLACED 30AMP FUSE, VEHICLE STARTS AND RUNS. ——- -POST REPAIR, ALL MONITORS RAN AND PASSED EXCEPT EVAP.

    • Brake inspection – Remove and reinstall four wheels and rear brake drums to inspect brake condition. Inspect entire system for leaks. Lining remaining is: Front (10mm-11mm) Rear (8mm)
    • Verify Park Brake Function
    • confirmed driver's side step does not come out when doors are opened. No codes stored in PSSM. Could not activate with scan tool. Wiring and mechanics of side step action look externally ok. Not able to read any module data. Confirmed signal from PSSM to motor. Manually attempted to bypass motor and motor had continuity but did not move. Impacted motor to hopefully move the armature to a different location. after that the motor cycled fully once. Tests after that only cycle the motor part way through its range. motor has failed. No mention of initialization in procedure. —- -Recommend replacement of driver side running board motor.
